About the Foundation
The Nehmiyah Foundation is KP Akom's faith-based nonprofit, working in Ghana and the Philippines. Its work begins with people: young leaders, students, and families who need someone to invest in them first. The name looks back to Nehemiah, who rebuilt a city by first rebuilding the people around him. Nehmiyah follows that same order. Build the person, and stronger homes, schools, and communities follow.
KP started the Foundation on one conviction: you build people before you build structures. Rather than leading with buildings or plans on paper, Nehmiyah puts its energy into leadership, education, and care, then lets those investments carry into the next generation.

Where We Work
Nehmiyah runs its programs in two countries, Ghana and the Philippines. In both places the Foundation partners with local families, schools, and churches, so support is delivered by people who already live in the community and know it well.
Our Programs
- Future Leaders Pathway — mentoring and leadership training that helps young people grow into responsible leaders for their families and communities.
- Care Program — practical support for students and families going through hard seasons, from everyday needs to encouragement and prayer.
- School & Education Projects — sponsoring students and strengthening local schools so children can stay in class and finish their education.
